Happy Moments

What is it that defines for us?

Is it the joy of getting good grades?

Is it the privilege of having that special someone in your life?

Is it that job promotion which you've been eyeing for ages?

Or perhaps it is the glorious amounts of angpau that you've received? (read: money)

We're all on a quest for our very own happy moments. The truth is, as cliched as it may sound, that we think too much of those happy moments as a destination. We forget easily that happiness is rather in the journey itself.

As a result, we get disappointed, frustrated that our happy moments have eluded us.

Perhaps if we only took time off. Perhaps if we stopped and paid attention to what is around us. Perhaps we will realize that happiness can be so easily attained by all.

You see, we're all already wealthy people ...

My cousin (the one who asked me who is my assignment) and her husband have caught on the 1-2-5 craze. Happy moments!

The truth is, sometimes we get too caught up in feeling down.

We haven't really stopped to realize that we can all find our happy moments, if only we pay close enough attention.

For happy moments can come in the little things.

Even in just a toy plane =)

p/s: In case you were wondering, yes, the little kid with the toy plane is me =P
